Kanye West Brings out Jay-Z at MoMA Benefit

Tuesday night Kanye West performed at the Museum of Modern Art’s 2011 Party in the Garden Benefit. He opened his set with a cover of Stevie Wonder‘s “They Won’t Go When I Go”. He shut down the MoMA performing hits like “Power”, “Monster”, “Jesus Walks”, “Flashing Lights”, “Good Life”, “Stronger”, and “All of the Lights”.  During an extended version of “Runaway”, Kanye apologized for his ego: “Thank you for loving me when they told you not to love me. I’m sorry if you ever had to argue with me. I’m sorry if I put you through that.”

Towards the end of his set, Yeezy brought out the big homie Jay-Z to perform “H.A.M.” and closed out with “Empire State of Mind”.
