Looks like Tyler’s true dream of becoming a great filmmaker are coming to fruition. The seven-minute music video for “Sam is Dead”, off the OF Tape Vol. 2 is more of a short-film, inspired by the American Revolution-based book “My Brother Sam Is Dead”. Of course, like any Odd Future video, there’s some dark, element to it, but “Sam is Dead” was shot so well, and scored just as great. The video was directed and scored by Tyler (aka Wolf Haley) and also features verses from fellow Odd-Futurian Domo Genesis. Guest appearances from Earl Sweatshirt, and a few other OF members. It appears Tyler’s true talent is behind the camera. The OF Tape Vol. 2, is in stores now, and Tyler’s sophomore album Wolf is set for release later this year.
