SuperSTah Snuk Drops Fresh Visuals for Statik Selektah Produced “Falling In Love”

Fresh from the drop of his debut album Man of 1000 Styles, SuperSTah Snuk gives us the visuals for the Statik Selektah produced track “Falling In Love”. If it isn’t evident from the title, “Falling In Love” is SuperSTah Snuk’s testament of love to the woman (or the habit) by his side. Statik’s beat is as fresh as they come, with an expertly looped sample propped up by some groovy bass, drums and crisp hi hats.

At first, it sounds like “Falling In Love” is just about falling in love with a woman but once you see the video, you see how Snuk cleverly juxtaposes his love for his woman against his love of alcohol. The video itself is full of vivid, bright graphics of beer, bottled and canned. SuperSTah Snuk delivers his lyrical message to a room of people attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting before the video cuts to him eating chicken wings and downing can after can of beer named after himself. The rapper evens sees his woman in the empty beer and wine bottles laying around his crib. While we can’t be sure if Snuk thinks ‘falling in love’ is a bad or good thing, the visuals for the track definitely made us fall in love with Snuk’s in-depth, metaphorical exploration of how love can affect us.

“Falling In Love” is only one of the many dope tracks off of Man of 1000 Styles– you can buy the album via iTunes. Watch the video for “Falling In Love” below.
