Majid Jordan Drop New Music Video For “Learn From Each Other”

Majid Jordan, composed of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman, have been on a roll this past year. With a feature on Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and a Beats 1 Radio show under their belt, the duo have been making waves in the music world with their unique electro R&B sound. Following the release of a music video for their track “King City”, Majid Jordan has just released another music video for “Learn From Each Other”.

The video takes place in a swanky nightclub and follows a timid, blonde singer as she makes her way to the stage to sing in front of a rather unimpressed looking crowd. Hearing Majid Al Maskati’s vocals coming from the singer’s mouth is a little strange at first but the switch up works once you realize that Majid is sitting in the audience, watching her perform. She sheds her timidness and becomes more bold as she locks eyes with Majid, singing “I only know how to be myself when I’m with ya/ we can only learn from each other”. It seems as if the two have found love until Majid’s girl slides in next to him and kisses him on the cheek. The singer immediately looses confidence and visibly shrinks in size before finishing the song. So much for a happy ending.

We would’ve preferred a happier end to the video but as it stands, the visuals portray the painful reality of a love that can’t come to fruition. “Learn From Each Other” is from the duo’s debut album Majid Jordan. They will be going on tour next month with upcoming shows in San Francisco on March 14th and in Los Angeles on March 15th. You can check out the music video for “Learn From Each Other” below.
