Brooklyn rapper Cash Sinatra has given us some crisp new visuals for his 2015 smash hit “Nah!”. “Nah!” has garnered over 20k plays via SoundCloud so it was only a matter of time before the rapper decided to release a video for the track.

Cash takes us to his hood and gives us a view of how life goes around his way which is exactly what “Nah!” is all about. The video shows Cash rapping on his front steps and follows him and his crew as they purvey the neighborhood, hit up their favorite local spot for some fried chicken and documents their robbery of a bodega. The link between lyrics and the visuals are clever- though Cash’s crew does rob the bodega, it doesn’t look like they’re interested in taking money from the register. As Cash raps “Optical obstacles…my n*ggas gonna eat/ if I got the food…”, the rapper and his friends load up a truck full of food from the corner store in a sort of Robin Hood-esque fashion. TyMooreMula, who directed the video, did a great job of giving the visuals a stark feeling by upping the contrasts between shadows and light sources.

Cash Sinatra has been immensely involved in the music scene. This past October, he was a part of DJ Envy’s cypher for upcoming rappers in which B.o.B participated. Other than that, Cash performs at a myriad of spots in New York and most recently represented the Big Apple at the SXSW festival in Texas. Cash’s next EP “Raheem” is set to drop at the end of March/ beginning of April. Check out the music video for “Nah!” below and keep up to date with the rapper via his Instagram and Twitter.
