State Property reunites and hits the stage in Atlanic City
Over the weekend, Philly group State Property took over Summerfest 2011 in Atlantic City and blazed the stage. In the late 90’s/early 2000’s, the group, featuring Beanie Sigel, Freeway, the Young Gunz, Oschino, Peedi Peedi, and Omilio Sparks, dominated the Hip Hop scene with hit after hit. The group also produced two victorious films named after themselves.
For the first time in years, the group hit the stage, and rocked the crowd.
Speaking to The Press of Atlantic City, Beanie expressed how his reunited group has changed and that fans will be hearing more from them soon.
Beans says, “We’re in agreement on this. Everybody wanted to do their solo thing and spread their wings and stand out on their own. Now it’s just time. They [other group members] have changed and it’s puzzling to me. They got better. I think Peedi Crakk is a megastar. Chris from the Young Gunz is a megastar. They grew.”
Beans performed “Beanie (Mack Bitch)” while Freeway and Peedi Crakk gave the fans a taste of “Flipside”, all before the entire group rocked the stage with “Roc the Mic.”
