After leaving the VIBE Event Wednesday night, KBB ended the action packed evening with Low Key at Chrystie 141 for another YHTN Wednesdays event. The purpose of this week’s event was to introduce Mary J Blige’s new artist, Starshell to the general public.
She debuted her new record “Birthday Girl”, drawing a warm reception from both industry figures and party goers in attendance. Confident in her appearance and her music, Starshell enjoyed the reactions expected for her feel good club anthem. DMV Upstart, Honors English’s “State Of The Art” mixtape was released as well and received a fair reception for the records played through the night.
The night turned from a meet and greet into a full blown party by midnight. Mike Neeze & Triple X had the building rocking for the entire night.
