Just two days before the anticipated release of his new mixtape Summer At Sunset, Wale joined The Roots on the stage of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform his popular single “My PYT”. The track is Wale’s spin on Michael Jackson’s timeless joint “PYT” and needless to say, the rapper did a great job of taking the original and making it his own.
Wale’s been especially busy lately with the upcoming release of Summer At Sunset, which will be followed by the release of his next LP, SHINE, this fall. So far, he’s dropped two other tracks from the forthcoming mixtape to satisfy his fans while they wait for more new material.
