Having discovered her vocal abilities at a very young age, music has played such a major role in Sanura’s life. Hailing from Virginia Beach, Virginia but born in Brooklyn, New York, From dropping her first indie debut Ultimate Accessory in 2008 to dropping her second LP three years later, The Green Room, Sanura garnered a lot of local buzz, which led to other opportunities within entertainment including modeling and acting. Since moving to NYC, she has landed major modeling gigs with BET, hair product line Miss Jessie’s, Urban Ink Magazine, in addition to landing her first supporting role in a independent feature film.
With the release of her third LP last month, Sanura stops by to chat current and upcoming projects, making her dreams come alive, and staying focused through it all.
