Singersroom presented Acoustic Conversations with Tyrese at Bo Concept in New York City last night. Entering the intimate space, he captured the room, sharing a personal story of his start in the industry. With a 30 second Coca Cola commercial at the age of 15, to now being an actor, author, and singer, he told the packed room, he couldn’t have imagined this 15 years ago. He graced the crowd with his first single, Stay, off his new album Open Invitation. The track was well received, reminiscent of an old love song your parents would’ve played on a vinyl.
He also performed some of his past hits including Signs and Act Like That. He brought out a new artist he’s been working with named Leon Timbo, as they both performed Leon’s track The Other Side.
He was very personable and candid with the crowd, answering questions about love, cheating, relationships, and more. His fifth studio album, Open Invitation, is in stores November 1st. Check out some of the photos below.
