UPDATE: Over the weekend Chicago rapper Rhymefest was released from the hospital
Rapper Rhymefest was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes after checking himself into a local Chicago hospital at the risk of going into a diabetic coma.
On June 2nd, Fest entered the hospital with his sugar levels reaching 739 mg/dL, with normal levels being around 80 mg/dL.
Rhymefest has had the diease for years, and was unaware.
UPDATE: Over the weekend, Rhymefest was released from the hospital and decided to let his twitter followers know what’s up. He plans to change the way he eats, excercises, and his “lease on life.”
