Amandi (@AmandiMusic) had pretty action packed year in 2011. A Grammy nod for his work on Trinitee 5:7, A second Fab Awards nomination for Artist Of The Year, writing for a number of artists including SWV, being recoginized by Hip Hop Weekly for his writting along with surgery on his vocal cords made 2011 a roller coaster of a year. Now to celebrate the highs and lows he’s releasing another edition of his mixtape, The Cover Up. Just as an exercise for his songwriting skills he grabbed some industry tracks and wrote songs to each. Each song was a complete departure from the originals. It will be interesting to see what Amandi comes up with this time.
