Over the weekend, Philadelphia rapper Cassidy, was arrested in Hackensack, New Jersey. Cassidy, real name, Barry Reese, has been named a suspect in at least one murder, and two other attempted murders.
According to TMZ.com, Hackensack police conducted surveillance on a house in Hackensack, New Jersey and followed the rapper to a local store, where they then arrested him.
Hackensack police Lt. Timothy Lloyd states that Reese “was very surprised” when arrested.
Cassidy is currently awaiting extradition from New Jersey, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he is still in custody in Jersey. Bail was set at $200,000.
