Through the past year we’ve been blessed with different NWA blasts from the pasts. Whether it was the movie Straight Outta Compton or the interview the members did with Kendrick Lamar, the iconic group has remained fresh in our minds even after 30 years.
Even though Ice Cube is heavily involved within movies and Dr Dre is still musically influential, seeing the whole group together brings a different energy to the table. But, as much as we would love to see them continue to take breaks from their personal work and create crazy content together, the group has decided not to perform at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame celebration.
While they did not feel supported enough to perform at the event, they Kendrick Lamar is still set to be delivering their induction to the Hall of Fame tonight at the Barclays.
The group has always kept it real with us, but we’ll see if their statements were just eliminating expectations for what’s truly to come.
