For the second year running KBX joined our friends at #OvaEZ to celebrate another year of bringing dopeness to the people. It was a beautiful time. A bunch of our old friends and new friends toasted with us. As part of our series of events to commemorate our 5th birthday, hitting one of Boston’s best day parties seemed like the smart thing to do for a bunch of music-loving media makers and their supporters. The KBX team came. We saw. We had chicken and waffles. It was lit.
The vibes were perfect. Papadon fresh from his duties as BIA’s DJ on Pusha T’s Darkest Before Dawn tour controlled the floor alongside DoItFoReal Creative leader Real P with their usual skill. Special guest Ras Beans took us back to the basement party days when he dived into the classic dancehall. And since it was our birthday we put in a call to 7L and had him come make his OvaEZ debut.
