Kanye West picked up 7 nominations last night during CBS’ Grammy Nomination special, including song of the year. Right on his heels were Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars & Adele with 6 nods each. Lil Wayne got 5 nominations while Drake, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna each get 4. More than a few notable omissions this year. Artists like Miguel and Jill Scott were noticably absent even though they both had high profile projects this year. Also congratulations go out to Clinton Sparks who got a nod for his production on Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album.
