Ice Cube and Common Perform “Real People” With The Roots On The Tonight Show

It’s always dope seeing hip hop royalty hit the stage together and that’s exactly what we got when Common and Ice Cube, backed by The Roots, performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The two brought love into the building with their new song “Real People”, a track that reminisces about the good old days but is equally hopeful for the future that lies ahead. “Real People” is off of the Barbershop: The Next Cut soundtrack. The movie, chocked full of musical talent with stars like Ice Cube, Common, Eve and Nicki Minaj on the roster, drops this Friday.

Fallon gives us a dose of some of his humor by showing off some composite images of him and Common and goes on to convince the rapper into break dancing on the spot. Who knew that Common had the moves like that? Watch the videos of the show below and make sure to catch Barbershop: The Next Cut when it hits theaters this Friday.
