Today would have been the 67th birthday of reggae icon Bob Marley. And 31 years after succumbing to cancer, he’s still the most popular figure in Reggae music. Using his music as a platform to create social change Marley transcended his genre and became an influence for artists all over the world. Let’s hope people use today to remember the legacy of his art.
It is better to shoot up the struggle in search of better days, even at the risk of losing everything, than remain static, as the poor in spirit, not fight, but did not win, do notknow the pain of defeat, or resurrect the glory of the rubble. Those poor in spirit, at the end of his journey on earth do not thank God for having lived, but excuse themselvesbefore Him, because they only last for life.
