SWV Album Listening Party at NYC Jungle City Studios

Anxiously awaiting the appearance of SWV (Sisters With Voices), all in attendance to their private album listening session were greeted by the bass knocking tunes in their newest single, Co-sign, off their long awaited album I Missed Us. Penthouse suite and sexy city views, was only a small part of what R&B aficionados and fans got a taste of at the newly developed Jungle City Studios in the Chelsea area of Manhattan

Hosted by eOne Music, the private listening session gave an intimate look at what has been in the making for over a year (creatively).  The album boasted uptempo production in songs like “Do Ya” featuring Brianna Perry (hip hop song Marilyn Monroe) coupled with classic R&B songs like They’ll Never Be. When asked about the album title and their mind set going back into the studio, Coko replied “it was fun, hard work, and exciting” and that “they missed making music, they missed the fans.”)

15 years since their last release, this album will truly be worth the wait.  The classic SWV sound hasn’t gone anywhere and in the words of Lelee “it’s ok to be over 40 and still fly as sh*t.”

Their album I Missed Us hits stores April 17th. Check back for our album review.

I’m in love with their new single Co-sign. Listen to it below and check out some of the event photos.
