After sharing the 2011 Essence Music Festival stage, The Talented Ms Scott is hitting the road with her own headlining tour. In support of her new album The Light Of The Sun, the Jill Scott Summer Block Party is going to be an All-Star gig. Sponsored by Budweiser, it kicks off in July 28th in NYC. Anthony Hamilton and Mint Condition share opening duties while the Dougie Fresh hosted event will have DJ Jazzy Jeff will be on the turntables.
