Black Thought Commits Lyrical Homicide On “Making A Murderer” featuring Styles P and 9th Wonder

Black-Thought-Making-A-Murderer

Black Thought is on a musical rampage right now and we’re absolutely loving it. The rapper most recently dropped a banger with the equally talented Royce Da 5’9 and absolutely destroyed his verses- now he’s back with another unstoppable track “Making A Murderer”.

Thought formed a musical trifecta with Styles P and 9th Wonder on this song. As expected, Black Thought lyrically shoots through his haters in “Making A Murderer”- the title refers to himself killing his opposition with his bullet-like wordplay. His fans took to Twitter to praise Black Thought for his lyrical ammunition.

The rappers cleverly allude to characters like Hannibal Lector, legend Bruce Lee and documentary star Steven Avery (from the wildly popular documentary, “Making A Murderer”) in their verses and deliver straight fire over the heart palpitating beat. Even the typography on the cover image for the song pays homage to the “Making A Murderer” documentary. All three remind us that they rep the “old n*ggas” and that they’re far from done with influencing hip-hop.

Black Thought hasn’t given us any clues about any possible upcoming projects but it seems as though he’s working on a joint album with Royce Da 5’9. The rapper will be performing with The Roots at the Vanguard Experience in Atlanta this weekend and will be giving a lecture at the Harvard Innovation Labs on April 21st. Listen to “Making A Murderer” below- KBX can’t wait to see what else Black Thought has in store for us in 2016.
