Big Sean Charged With Sexual Abuse, Denies Allegations


New York state police have charged Big Sean after a young woman complained that on Thursday she was sexually assaulted by the Detroit rapper during a concert. The 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Sean Anderson, was charged with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment, and sex abuse. It has been reported that another man, Willie “SayItAintTone” Hansbro, another Detroit rapper, (photographed above with Big Sean) faces the same charges.

Big Sean performed Thursday with Wiz Khalifa at Artpark State Park in Lewiston (Niagara County), NY. Authorities have not elaborated on the young woman’s statement.

Big Sean’s attorney, Scott E. Leemon has issued the following statement:

“Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”

Both Big Sean and SayItAintTone are due in Niagara County Court on September 6th and were released on $500 bail.
