Beyonce Gets Tropical for H&M’s Summer 2013 Campaign

Earlier this week, Beyonce sent the Internet on a frenzy telling people to “bow down bitches” and even going H-town on us with the chopped and screwed snippet. But this all seems to be in line with her world domination we’ve all been alluding to.

The campaign that was once a speculation two months ago appears to be true. According to Huffington Post, Beyonce will be featured in H&M’s global summer 2013 campaign ads. Snapped by photo duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, in the Bahamas, the singer is seen pictured in a silk top, print shorts, and black heels.

“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island,” Beyoncé said. “It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”

Fans will also get to see more of her style being that she had her hands in the designs. The campaign will feature print and outdoor ads that will read “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M” to coincide with her world tour, The Mrs. Carter Show and a television ad that will feature her new song, “Standing in the Sun.”

Teaming up with Pepsi for her upcoming tour to having her face on soda cans, it’s pretty much determined that Beyonce is slaying 2013.

What are your thoughts about her teaming up with H&M?
