The series starring Omari Hardwick scored 1.27 million viewers on Saturday and received positive reviews. Now Starz has announced that it will be renewing the series for a second season. For the second season the network also increased the order from eight episodes to 10.
50 Cent shared his excitement at the announcement. “’Power’ is a project extremely close to my heart and working with Chris Albrecht, Carmi Zlotnik and the Starz team has been the perfect fit for this,” he said. “Viewers may be loving the start of season one now, but season two will blow them away.”
