Rita Ora Came Through MTV Offices to ‘Party & Bullsh*t’

The lovely and gorgeous UK pop star, Rita Ora, stopped through MTV offices today for an impromptu performance right in the lobby of one of our floors. Shortly after her interview on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live this morning, Rita graced us with her presence and an amazing live band performance using Times Square city skyline as her backdrop.

She performed a myriad of tracks, opening up with a new song titled Rock the Life. Very rock infused, the title was inspired by a period of time in her life where she was just rocking out to life, hence the fitting name. She then performed a snippet of DJ Fresh’s track featuring her called Hot Right Now. One of her most personal songs, that she confirmed would be on the album, was Shine Your Light, reggae infused production by Frazier T. Smith. The influence behind this track included her love for reggae along with needing to find herself. She ended off with her two #1 UK singles, R.I.P. featuring Tinie Tempah and of course Party & Bullsh*t, which she credited towards her love for Biggie. Although she knew he wouldn’t make a pop version, she felt like those two words summed up a great summer. Needless to say, the perks of working in the Viacom offices included witnessing this moment AT WORK.

Taking three years to make her album, she gave a great performance and left us wanting more. Check out some of the pictures below and the video for her hit single Party and Bullsh*t. Let’s party and bullsh*t!
