‘Hip Hop’ Tackles Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Updated)

For those who have lost a loved one to breast cancer, the month of October has been one way to acknowledge and celebrate the great strides that have been made towards research for a cure and awareness.

Understanding the importance of giving back, new crew affiliate and lifestyle brand, Top 40 Boyz, teamed up with still life painter, R. Box (Robert Box) and The American Cancer Society’s notable campaign, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Top 40 Boyz, being very rooted in entertainment, and R. Box, being very rooted in the arts, have created a limited edition line of t-shirts for what they call There Is Still Life campaign. The goal is to spread the message of there still being life after breast cancer, thus collaborating with a still life painter.

Each t-shirt, handcrafted by R. Box himself, offers exclusivity and comfort through the design and fabric of the t-shirt. Each item will be authenticated through a number ID system. By teaming up with The American Cancer Society, the Top 40 Boyz hope to raise funds for a good cause, increase awareness of the disease in the entertainment industry by inspiring notable artists to get involved, as well as offering something exclusive and stylish for the current generation through a grassroots campaign.

Donate to the campaign here. Each $100 donation will receive an exclusive hand-painted t-shirt available in various colors including pink, white, blue, black, and gray.
