Troy Ave got on the airwaves and spoke on a few things. The XXL Freshman talked with The Breakfast Club about being chosen as one of this year’s XXL Freshmen along with his thoughts on 50 Cent, the importance of NY DJs support and his ideal label situation. One of the interesting parts of the interview was his claim that his crew BSB is the best in the city.
“I got my homies together. We on Volume 4 right now. We restoring the feeling. We the hottest group in the city. Sometimes they say I sound cocky or whatever. I’m mad humble. I’m blessed,” Troy explained “What we basically did was restore the feeling of old. Whether it be G-Unit and Dipset. That whole mixtape type of vibe and sounding like the city. The truth gonna sound cocky. We the best group in the city. We represent New York to the fullest. And we got the best quality of music.”
