He added a new date that will feature Nas with a full orchestra performing his iconic debut album Illmatic. Dave was in good form with Letterman. When asked by the talk show host about leaving Comedy Central he dryly answered ”Listen, here it is: Technically, I never quit. I’m seven years late for work.”

Comedian Dave Chappelle is heading to New York City’s Radio City Music Hall this summer in June. And much like when he called together his friends for the Michel Gondry-directed film Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, he’s putting his contacts to work. The shows, added after Dave sold out the initial run from June 18-22, will have him sharing the stage with The Roots, Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes and DJ Premier along with a full orchestra. The concerts at Radio City are Chappelle’s first announced NYC gigs more than a decade. Check below and see who shares the stage with him. More guests are expected to be announced so stay tuned.

Tuesday, June 24th: Dave Chappelle and The Roots
Wednesday, June 25th: Dave Chappelle, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, and Janelle Monáe
