Over the weekend (no pun intended), The Weeknd released a new song called Initiation from what may be on a new mixtape in the works, titled Echoes of Silence. Seemingly consistent with his past work, Initiation is a little eery sounding and esoteric in the sense only a few may “get him” lyrically.
