Imagine the intense brow-raising that occurred when I saw that there was a new track from Pimp C. “Grippin On The Wood” is the first release from Pimp C’s forthcoming Still Pimping, a post-mortem album presented by Rap-A-Lot Records. After hearing the “Country Sh*t Remix”, I’m inclined to say Bun B and Big K.R.I.T. make good music together. Pair that with the late Pimp C and you’ve got a good summer southern track to knock. Still Pimping is set to release July 12th.
