Although it was only June 2012 at what seemed so long ago that we heard a preview of what sounded like a “lost Drake verse” during one of his hookah sessions is lost no more.

According to his fan site, Word on Road, the verse is actually a feature on Nickelus F’s new song “Number 15.” Now if you know the history of Nickelus F and Drake, then you’ll appreciate this long overdue collaboration.
Produced by Jake One, the tracks finds the two very introspective of sorts. Holding it down for their city, T-Dot, this will be on Nickelus F’s new album, Vices, which doesn’t have an official release date yet.
2013 is beginning to look a lot like Christmas for many artists who were low key last year including Drake. Besides this featured track, he also graced the hook of Lil Wayne’s “B**ches Love Me” plus his sophomore album, Take Care, is nominated for several Grammys. We know Drizzy’s good for features but I’m ready to hear what his new album will have in store especially since the Toronto native relocated to Los Angeles last year. I think his junior album will offer a lot more perspectives beyond him “getting used to fame” and “stripper” memes we’ve become so attached to…err used to.
