Politics of the Uterus on Georgette Pierre Radio

Women’s uteruses have been the target of society for decades. From contraception to HPV shots for women to the controversial issue of our ‘reproductive rights’ including abortion and birth control, one could say the uterus has been politicized.  With federal funding being poured into clinics such as Planned Parenthood and religious institutions refusing to offer/prescribe women contraception, it leads me to the question but what about the men? Why aren’t men targeted for preventive services and contraception?

Even in the world of celebrity, one has been accused of not ‘seeming’ pregnant. But why is her uterus the world’s business?

My guests join me to offer various perspectives and personal stories on what they feel are the politics of the woman’s uterus, abortion and how it has affected them personally.

This discussion is not for the faint at heart.
