Last summer was my first listen to a young and well seasoned artist named D. Julien. Buzzing on the scene with his mixtape Live, Love, Learn, he offered a different perspective than most artists at the age of 19 especially with his firm decision to keep profanity and racially charged lyrics out of his music. Still not letting up and more vulnerable than his last, D. Julien is back with his follow up called Ready for Tomorrow.
