Old joints from the Diplomats will forever be relevant. Certain tracks like “Oh Boy” are timeless, and their so timeless that it still inspires those same rappers today.
Cam and Juelz have connected and released a new track named “Oh Yeah”. Although the new song takes a different tone, “Oh Yeah” follows itself along a sample just as “Oh Boy”. The raps and timely references are still there, and as we follow the two through the song we’re reminded of an era that once was. As Cam drops this song and plans for the fast approaching Smokers Club tour, I can just see the nostalgia brewing.
We can’t rock the triple XL jerseys or the baggy pants, but hopefully the new music Killa plans to release will suffice.
