The loss felt with the passing of producer/MC Eddie Bones is hard to put into words. As part of the crew Skitzofreniks he not only made memorable music but through the group’s forums created a space for the Boston Hip Hop community to come together. Many of the now internationally known names, like REKS, Termanology and Statik Selektah from the region got their first tastes of notoriety through “Skitz Board”. I even had my first appearance was on the Skitz debut, Enter The Realm. (Easy, Slick. I was just on a few skits).
Bones in addition to being talented STAYED with jokes. Even after the accident that confined him to a wheelchair he kept his spirits up and the merciless crack sessions. (Dude had me in real tears during our last convo.) And he’s being remembered in probably the best way ever, at the venue he rocked numerous times in his native Cambridge, MA. The line up is like an all stars of the Bean. Dont miss this. Details below.
