American Antagon1st (@Antagon1st). Sounds like the name of an ill super powered character, right? My first time having a chance to talk to Tag in depth was at his Batcave of a studio. Having first gotten notice as a producer and MC with his work in Boston’s Hip Hop scene. He had developed a rep for creating hard body street bangers so when he explained his vision of his music I was taken aback. He talked passionately about the freedom to do whatever he wanted as a musician instead of what’s expected. From the sounds of his native Montserrat to the Hip Hop of his youth to the occasional country record he digs, Tag is just trying to be him. That’s respectable. Instead of letting the world define him he is defining himself.
