Much to the ire of ol’ heads everywhere, The Weeknd is going to draw a few more comparisons to Michael Jackson with his new video for “Starboy.” The newly shorn singer hits a couple of steps and rides the Daft Punk-assisted groove of the title track of his new full-length project. In this clip, the pop life has been very good to the Canadian but he’s not trying to get caught up in the hype. He moves through the offices of his label destroying the markers of his recent success then peels off into the night with a black panther. Weird but dope. Starboy hits the streets and the internets on November 25.
