A$AP ROCKY AT THE MIDDLE EAST IN BOSTON, MA

Earlier this week Harlem Native, ASAP Rocky stopped through Boston, Ma to deliver what I would already say is one of the most memorable shows in the city for 2012.  ASAP Rocky has been shutting down shows all over the country these last couple weeks and Boston was no exception.  Performing a great selection of popular tracks off his mixtape “LiveLoveAsap” including “Keep One Rolled”,  “Pesos”, “Trilla”, and the obvious crowd favorite “Brand New”. ASAP Rocky, who interestingly was given his birth name, Rakim Mayers, after rapper Rakim is a true crowd pleaser. ASAP is notorious for saving fans. Considering his shows can get somewhat out of control, ASAP Rocky has demonstrated his true appreciation of his fans by stopping security guards from kicking fans out and even in other occasions bringing them up on stage.

ASAP Rocky had a packed house of dedicated fans at Middle East nightclub in Cambridge, Ma screaming lyrics word for word to every song. After Crowd surfing numerous times and starting about a dozen mosh pits ASAP Rocky proceeded to Thank the city of Boston for being so live and showing him so much love. He then proceeded to forewarn the crowd to be careful with smoking marijuana in the club upon entrance of the police. Nonetheless the city of Boston held up to its trash talking title and began to chant “FUCK THE POLICE!”  ASAP Rocky then states “ Man! I Love Boston I don’t wanna go home, I’m having too much fun” before breaking into the crowd pleaser “Brand New” and allowing the crowd to rap the entire second verse by Schoolboy Q in his absence. The entire ASAP crew put on a memorable performance that anyone who missed the show is sure to be kicking himself or herself for as we speak.
