You never know the struggles that someone faces. DJ/Producer Statik Selektah and his soon-to-be wife Fran welcomed their first child, a baby girl Harley Emma Baril, recently. And while any child is considered a blessing, The Selektahs are overjoyed after the journey they have gone through. During her pregnancy Fran was diagnosed with the potentially life-threatening HG (hyperemesis gravidarum), a disease that affects the pregnancy process for 2% of women worldwide. To help get the word out about the condition that mimics morning sickness, they created a video spread the word. Using the heartbeat of the newest edition of the family Statik created a new track titled “Harley’s Blues”, found on his latest album Lucky 7. Hopefully shorty was able to get her publishing together. HA!
