Hov is back in the executive producer chair but in a classic way. Jay-Z alongside The Bullitts is set to score the novel adapted film, The Great Gatsby according to Billboard. The Bullitts tweeted the news a couple of days ago.
“Jay-Z and myself have been working tirelessly on the score for the upcoming #CLASSIC The Great Gatsby! It is too DOPE for words!”
The trailer features Jay and Kanye’s Watch the Throne “No Church in the Wild”. Check it out below. The film is set to hit theaters this summer and will feature Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, and Tobey Maguire.
We should start getting use to Jay in this light. If you recall earlier this year, he also stepped into the world of video games and executive produced the soundtrack for NBA 2K13, bringing in artists like Coldplay, U2, Kanye, and more. He’s not a businessman, he’s a business man!
