Since it was announced that Jay-Z would be executive producing Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby movie soundtrack, we’ve been at attention waiting to hear what he curated. Well we don’t have to wait that much longer because the snippets have been released to hold us over until the album drops May 7th. With the likes of will.I.am., Fergie, Emeli Sande singing a jazz cover of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love”, and much more, this album seems worth the wait and I’m not saying that because Jay-Z’s behind it. If anything, it’s far left field from what most people would expect and that’s why I love it. Reportedly this isn’t the full track listing but only time wil tell.
