Those big gold champagne bottles that you frequently see around Jay Z are about to start paying for themselves. The mogul struck a deal to purchase luxury champagne brand Armand de Brignac better known as Ace Of Spades. The rapper’s new company bought the brand from Sovereign Brands. a New York-based company that includes Belaire as one of its brands..
“We are proud to announce that Sovereign Brands, a New York-based wine and spirits company owned by the Berish family, has sold its interest in the Armand de Brignac (‘Ace of Spades’) Champagne brand to a new company led by the globally-renowned Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter,” the company said in a statement.
Details of the deal were not released.
