The team over at TheNEHipHop caught up with the Improper Bostonian cover girl Dutch ReBelle to have her tell the story behind her party rocking song “Stop It.” As part of their ongoing series, “Breakdown,” they connect with MC’s who fill in the blanks on their bars. “Stop It” originally appeared on Dutchy’s Married To The Music. Along with ‘Sunday Morning” featuring Amandi Music its was one of the standout tracks from MTTM, that help land her on MTV twice.
During this talk the Boston area native explains her writing process for the song which has become a favorite from her live shows. We have it on good authority that she’s including a remix of the song on her new album ReBelle Diaries and has already shot a video featuring XXL Freshmen Fred The Godson.
