You can charge this to the game as the beef that never was. With the back and forth between Joe Budden and Drake , its not a far leap to think Drake and Eminem might not be on the best terms. After all Budden is signed to Em’s Shady Records as a part of Slaughterhouse and this is the world of hip hop beef. Plus part of Drake’s volleying with Hot 97 was prompted when their morning show host Ebro spoke about a joking with the Canadian about being ready for Eminem.
But apparently all that is much ado about nothing. Em joined Drake in front of a audible shocked crowd last night at the Detroit stop of the Summer Sixteen tour. The multi-platinum star slowly appeared from the floor and joined Drake for their collaboration, “Forever.” Drake later shared the above pic of him and the Shady Records owner with the following caption, “SHARED THE STAGE WITH THE GOAT FOR DETROIT. DONE THE HYPE”
Take a look at footage of the two stars on stage together.
Toronto & Detroit vs Everybody! I met @rosenberg before Em signed to Dre, I had office space in his Shady office before Comeback Season, Drake would stop by when in NYC, check Myspace & hang @ the office with us & @sonofgastone Before So Far Gone dropped (before he introduced me to 40). Seeing this happen tonight, words can't explain! #ShadyOVO #Family Cc: @futuretheprince
