2013 has already been the promotion of all things Beyonce, including her having performed during Obama’s swearing in ceremony. We all know she can sing but critics didn’t take too kindly to the news of her lip syncing the National Anthem during the ceremony. As if she needed to prove anything to the world, some have defended her decision while others openly shared their disgust and disappointment.
As of the last few months, Beyonce’s been sharing more of her private world with fans including getting down and dirty on social media. According to TMZ, she took to her Instagram, @BaddieBey, posting a picture of her wearing a sweatshirt that read “Can I Live.” Now if that isn’t a subliminal response to the critics, I don’t know what is.
Bey is currently in New Orleans gearing up for her Super Bowl half time performance, which she alluded to in pictures shared via her website. Destiny’s Child is expected to reunite on stage during half time and perform a medley of classic hits including their new song “Nuclear.”
Beyonce’s HBO documentary, Life Is But A Dream, is also set to air on February 16th.
I think it’s safe to say she’s back in full swing.
