Dear Bargang members,
By the time you read this I will be on a flight to the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. I am not gloating by any means, just wanted to share with you how excited I am to not only perform at this epic festival, but also to say how happy I am that I get to go on behalf of my hometown of Boston. I rep to the fullest whether home or away.
I decided that this was a good week to drop some new all original material to get some things off my chest and to give you an update on some of the things me and the good folks over at Rhoaming Music have in the coming months. As many of you know, our first single “Go To Work” video never was released. We ran into a variety of issues that dragged the situation completely out of our hands.
In effort to make up for that blunder and to fully give “20 Something” the credit we feel it deserves, we will be releasing two videos in the coming month. The title track “20 Something” (produced by Teddy Roxpin) visuals will be dropping sometime next week. The indisputable “Monsters” visual will be coming sometime in April. We feel this video is going to make a serious impact with it gritty realism, and we can’t wait to share it with you all. There will a “Monsters” video release party in April and we will be sending those invitations out soon, so keep an eye out for those. We will also be making a big announcement with Cavata Clothing. This will be a can’t miss event.
The song I dropped today is called “Nothin’ At All”. I wrote this a couple nights ago and cut it in the studio with FN’s Quisington. He engineered the entire thing. “Nothin’ At All” is produced by “Lightfoot Beats” who has been making quite a bit of noise around the city of late. I was first put onto him through the #12for12 movement at a producers showcase. You can reach him at @LightfootBeats. The song is highly current and speaks on many of the things I’ve experienced in the past couple of weeks leading up to the South By Southwest Festival. I wanted to share those thoughts with all of you. There will be lots of new music in the next few months as Rhoaming Music are prepping the release of my next project slated for release this summer.
