Back in March, Boston artist Treva Holmes blessed us with his sexy, sensuous single “Agree”. Backed by excellent production and his unique take on traditional R&B tropes, Treva made a song that we still bump regularly to this day. Last week, he dropped some long awaited visuals for the track and he did not disappoint.
Treva takes us into a raging house party where he, beautiful girls and his friends turn up on a typical Boston night. Lenny Coote from FlexVision was behind the lens for the music video and his talent is more than apparent in the artistic shooting and editing of the footage of the party. There’s plenty of Hennessy and dabbing and the way the video is shot gives you a sense of euphoria, as if you just swallowed a burning shot of Henny yourself. The thing about these visuals is that they’re as unique as Treva’s sound- he forgoes the club scene to give us a sense of what life is really like for him, surrounded by friends and people who support both him and his music.
