Snoop Dogg is currently grinding out a new project.
The Long Beach rapper usually uses Instagram for posting a variety of different content, and last night he took to the ‘gram to document a studio session with Just Blaze. With a caption reading “@justblaze cooking for the Dogg next Albulm. July 2016″ the music world is intrigued.
Snoop’s latest album, Bush, was produced by Pharrel and just released last May, so for Snoop to drop an album this July with a predominantly Just Blaze production extends an already dynamic discographic catalogue. Snoop’s role within music is recreational now, but every musical move will for sure add on to his legacy.
And according to Instagram once again, Snoop was apparently also with Nipsey Hussle recoding. The two rappers would make for a great California collaboration and we’ll have to see if Nip lands on the new album.
