Melanie Fiona Gets Real With ‘I Tried’ Video

Melanie Fiona creates a message filled visual for the newest look at her forthcoming project. While the rest of the world is turning up MF opens a little used chamber in today’s R&B to create a thought-provoking video for her new single. “I Tried” is packed with all the hell that is breaking loose in society today. Currently the song is available on Itunes and various digital retail outlets.

The Canadian songstress explained why she with her new video. “It is important for me to channel the ideas and concepts I am passionate about into my music and my art… As an artist with a social platform, I feel it is my responsibility to do so,” said Melanie. “The video for ‘I Tried’ is a tribute to the fight in which we all witness and experience both internally and externally in the world daily. The conversation of important issues should not end when we turn the TV off. I hope this visual sparks emotion, thought, dialogue, reflection, and ultimately, positive change.”

Over the summer Melanie got things rolling with the sexy visual for her single “Bite The Bullet.” Her project Awake containing “I Tried” and “Bite The Bullet” should drop in early 2016
