Ever since the hip-hop community has been privy to the first leak fromTwelve Reasons To Die, the upcoming album from Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge, it has been salivating for the opportunity to hear the whole thing. After the release of three or four songs, the project has been hyped up to be an early contender for album of the year upon its dropping on April 16. Well, today, NPR was given the green light to stream the album exclusively. Early impressions from listening reveal that this album has been well-crafted. Ghostface’s off-kilter narrative style and outlandish phrases work perfectly over the instrumentation employed by Adrian Younge. This appears to be one of those rare instances of a project living up to its hype. But check it out for yourself below.
